Our chef team at A LA FOLIE put together a traditional Galette Des Rois! This is a French pastry eaten in the month of January in France to celebrate the Epiphany. This galette is a buttery, light and flaky hand crafted puff pastry filled with creamy vanilla almond frangipane. We serve it with une fève (a small trinket) and a crown. The person who gets the trinket in their slice of galette is said to be the king for a day!
Our galette feeds 5-6 people and is available for in-store pick up on Saturday, January 16th between 9am - 1pm.
