Job Duties:
- Scale ingredients for macarons and fillings
- Make fillings for macarons
- Help with the morning production of macaron shells
- Put tops on macarons
- Pipe filling for macarons
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dish area, and machines

A LA FOLIE is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Executive Pastry Chef to join our team. As Executive Pastry Chef you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact at a growing, successful small business.
Job Duties:
Oversee two kitchens: our wholesale macaron production kitchen, and our finite retail pastry kitchenWholesale Production Kitchen
- Plan and schedule production
- Manage wholesale production by overseeing employees are adhering to recipes, processes and procedures set by management
- Ensure that department supplies and inventories are maintained
- Oversee & improve production quality
- Increase productivity
- Step in to production as needed
- Direct and oversee all functions of the pastry shop
- Manage Retail Head Pastry Chef
- Ensure that department supplies and inventories are maintained
- Step in to production as needed
- 10 years of professional experience
- 3 years experience as Executive Pastry Chef or Manager at reputable establishment
- Strong employee management and business communication skills
- Accountability
- Creative, innovative and eager to learn
- Ability to motivate colleagues and employees
- Experience with computers and software related to Chef position, such as recipe composition, editing and filing; inventory management; ingredient and supply ordering and tracking; employee scheduling, etc.
- Diploma or certification from an accredited relatable is preferredd
